docker container logs

Description

Fetch the logs of a container

Usage

docker container logs [OPTIONS] CONTAINER

Options

Name, shorthand Default Description
--details false Show extra details provided to logs
--follow, -f false Follow log output
--since Show logs since timestamp
--tail all Number of lines to show from the end of the logs
--timestamps, -t false Show timestamps

Examples

Display all containers, including non-running

$ docker container ls -a

Display containers with their commands

Display containers with their labels in a table

$ docker container ls --format "table {{.ID}}\t{{.Labels}}"
