color

The color property sets the foreground color of an element's text content, and its decorations.

This property also sets the <currentcolor> value which may be used as an indirect value on other properties, and is the default for other color properties, such as border-color.

Note that the color value must be a uniform color, which may include a transparency value from CSS3 onwards. It can't be a <gradient> which is an <image> in CSS-
