JavaScript typed arrays provide a mechanism for accessing raw binary data much more efficiently. Includes: Int8Array, Uint8Array, Uint8ClampedArray, Int16Array, Uint16Array, Int32Array, Uint32Array, Float32Array & Float64Array

Notes

Includes support for ArrayBuffer objects.

IE10 (and IE 10&11 mobile) does not support Uint8ClampedArray

Bugs

Safari 5.1 does not support Float64Array
Firefox 14 and under do not have DataView yet.
In versions before Safari 6, Typed Arrays are much slower than normal arrays.
ArrayBuffer has no slice method in IE 10.
